About
Manushi Chillar achieved stardom when she made it to the international headlines after winning Miss World 2017 pageant in China. A crown that took 16 years to come back to India after Priyanka Chopra won it in 2000.
Her journey in pageantry began with Fbb Campus Princess 2016, where she was crowned as one of the finalists. After that, she went on to win Femina Miss India 2017.
She was the brand ambassador for many brands- Malabar Gold and Diamond, and Club Factory.
She is also a trained Kuchipudi dancer. She is to make her debut in Yash Raj's historical drama 'Samrat Prithviraj', starring alongside Akshay Kumar.

Her journey into pageantry began in 2016 with being crowned as ‘FBB Campus Princess’ 2016. After which, she won the ‘FBB Femina Miss India Haryana’ in 2017. She was crowned ‘Femina Miss India’ in 2017. She was also named ‘Miss Photogenic’ in Femina Miss India, 2017.
She was named the ‘Times Most Desirable Woman of India’ in 2017.
Why Manushi Chillar ?
She was the winner of the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ competition at Miss World 2017. She was selected for her work for ‘Project Shakti’, a campaign to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene for which she visited about 20 villages & treated over 5,000 women.
Manushi had to work hard among the beauty contestants from 108 countries to win the ‘Miss World’ title. Her journey and success has brought pride to our nation and inspired millions.
